Thank you! Been waiting on a polycarbonate check in luggage at a decent price for a while now. Hopefully no noticeable use even though it's open box

Thanks!! Been waiting on another 28" option less than $100 from a reputable brand that's also polycarbonate and includes the tsa locks and the expansion ability. Picked up a 28" Samsonite Toomer 3 model at my local Ross for $99. New and with expansion but doesn't come with the lock.

That is an oddly specific statement

So do people really think "open box" means used? I would think "open box" means this is possibly a returned item (that hopefully was never used for travel).

Do you think the wheels will show signs of use from being rolled (i.e., the rubber wheels are no longer black and are "pitted" from rolling on sidewalk/concrete)?

Also, does anyone know if this is still eligible for 10 year limited warranty? The buydig listing doesn't specify at all.
I google searched "samsonite omni fiero" and I think this is supposed to have a 10 year warranty, based on this Amazon listing which states: "10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: Samsonite products are rigorously tested to ensure our products meet stringent standards. This bag comes with a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship."

I've seen sites that say the warranty applies to the "first" buyer. So, in this case, assuming it has been bought and returned and then likely bought again by BuyDig, I think you'd be hard-pressed to use the warranty. But, at $80, it's probably not a huge gamble.

I own two of these.

Please be aware:

1. This suitcase technically exceeds most airline maximum dimensions. I've never had a problem with it, but if you piss off the checkin counter agent enough to get out the tape measure, you may have one.

2. It's VERY EASY to exceed the usual 50lb limit with this luggage (which is relatively heavy, despite the polycarbonate).

3. Exceeding the 50lb limit makes this luggage very unwieldy. The body flexes around the zipper and the narrow wheels are not well suited to heavy loads on anything but the smoothest surfaces.

4. The zipper is not waterproof. Again, usually not a problem, but it really sucked the one time it was.

For open box, I find this deal pretty lukewarm and I would pass on it.

Single wheels like the 20" one. As I stated in the other deal... this looks good for someone who doesn't travel often but for me, I need double wheels for better rolling.

FYI, you can pay slightly more ($76 instead of $59) if you want NEW carry-on.
(I can't seem to get the deal at Amazon, but Lord & Taylor seems to work)
