Wow! What a great response for my first SD post... I've had my eye on the 87V for quite awhile, to me this Max model is the holy grail of meters!

I was looking at the 115 and 117 to save some money and honestly that's probably enough for me and most people... with that said, this is a true Buy It For Life product to me... looking forward to teaching my kid how to use it and pass it on to him.

Thanks for all the support. Just happy I'm able to contribute a deal back after picking up so many great deals y'all share around here!

Oh wow what a deal! Thanks for posting this. Been waiting for an offer like this on the top end line for home use. This is the kind we use in every electronics lab I've worked in.

Best deal ever. If I haven't already had Fluke 179, I would buy without any hesitation.

Great deal! I've been very happy with my 117 & 289 combo, but I've been curious about the 87-V! Haven't researched what the upgrade from the 117 would actually get me though. This deal is a very good price though!

Edit: good write up comparing the 117 to the 87V here:

https://www.tequipment.net/fluke/...ltimeters/

Honestly not much I care about since I've already got the 289 when the 117 can't do what I need.

Well, I own the 110 Plus (and a 323 clamp meter), which vastly exceeds my occasional need. But HOLY CRAP I want this! This is like the de facto industry standard. I don't know if I will be able to resist this price point. They usually sell for more used!

PLEEEEEASE! Someone talk me outta this!

If you have a 289, why do you even have a 117?
The only meter I use is a 289(and some clamp meters).

Does anyone know what the difference is between this and the one that was on sale at Lowe's last year for $318?

Great deal. If I didn't already have the Fluke 8, Fluke 88V, Fluke-101, Fluke 374FC, Fluke i1010, Fluke 1AC, and Fluke TS90 I would be all over this.

If you already have a good (Fluke) meter and need an excuse to buy this one, then consider the fact that this one seems to be the most rugged Fluke MM available. I'd get it just for that reason alone.

Always good to have a backup, and the 289 stays in the house while to the 117 stays in the garage for shop projects and taking to off-site locations.
