This is one of the best deals on ANY MacBook Pro I've ever seen. This laptop was listed at $2K not even 6 months ago. It is $1599 on the Apple Refurb store--and this Costco deal is for a brand new one w 2/year warranty. Too bad they only seem to get this awesome on the base configs. I figure by the weekend there won't be any left. They were getting hard to find at the $1399 price they were just a week ago.

I included GPU count in the title of the OP to provide as much info as I could. The base M2 Pro has 16 cores but the upgrade model has 19. This one's the base model.

Any one has any luck doing price adjustment? They told me they cant price adjust it since its not available in store. Very annoying price match policy from Costco never expected they will find way to mess with people.

1050 and 1060 weren't even RTX. They were still GTX. And the former only had 2GB VRAM. I sincerely doubt Apple Silicon is that bad.

I was able to nab the last one in my area two stores away. Got really lucky. All other stores in area were out. They also don't hold items so if you find one - run down and get it.

I bought with Costco Citi card. So I have 2 years manufacturer warranty (apple+ Costco) and also 120 day damage + theft protection through the card.

Do I still need AppleCare? It was about $250 + $300 deductible for most repairs and so I passed on that but wonder if that was a mistake?

Hopefully it drops to $999.97 then i'm in. Not convinced it's worth it for $1200 for 95% of users doing basic tasks.
