This is one of the best deals on ANY MacBook Pro I've ever seen. This laptop was listed at $2K not even 6 months ago. It is $1599 on the Apple Refurb store--and this Costco deal is for a brand new one w 2/year warranty. Too bad they only seem to get this awesome on the base configs. I figure by the weekend there won't be any left. They were getting hard to find at the $1399 price they were just a week ago.

Yesterday, They had the same model in the 16" for $500 more, which seems to be the price upgrade that is normal for the larger screen.. I had it delivered today. Not sure if they have any more.

Thank you for posting this! I bought this exact configuration for $1400 a week ago and when this posting showed up, I was shocked that the price went down again! I didn't think it would get lower because it's a clearance item.

Price matching wasn't an option to get my money back. I had to buy a new one, and then return the one I was currently using. I felt bad because one less person won't be able to get their hands on this awesome deal. I'm assuming with used items, they don't put it back on the shelves. But, they DO put it back on the shelf if it wasn't used at all.

For price match if you bought at Costco, have to go into a store that has one in stock with just your receipt and they will credit the difference. I did this Wednesday after buying it for $1400 the previous Saturday.

The guy told me that my only option was to buy a new one and return the one I currently have. I guess the guy that processes returns didn't check hard enough because at the location I was at, they had a new one in stock.

You do not need citi card to get additional 1yr warranty. Costco by default provides that.
Citi card used to provide additional 2 years warranty but not any more.
Also extended warranty is not manufacturer warranty.
