This is the base Macbook Pro with M2 Pro processor, 14.2" screen, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage in Space Gray, Apple model number MPHE3LL/A. Looks like it was marked down on 2/13, a couple of days ago.
It's already been removed from Costco's inventory system, so no link. But it's item #1601622 so you can call your local store for a stock check. I picked up the last one at the Germantown Road store in Memphis.
They're out of stock at most places, but the last price at Micro Center was $1,549.99. Apple is selling it refurbished for $1,599.

Mine was new and sealed. Had the same issue. Set it up and add to your Apple ID devices. Login in on Apple support site and upload proof of purchase. Then talk with them on phone and they'll update your proof of purchase date which will fix your warranty and AppleCare issues. When you buy from Costco they don't actually scan the device serial number - that's what causes the warranty issue. Word of advice - before uploading receipt image, write or photoshop your serial number on it. Apple needs this to link your device to purchase. Costco won't have it listed as mentioned above.
Does this MacBook comes with Apple care ? Or should I buy it separately. What's default warranty I get with this if purchased in Costco
You get 2 years when purchased from Costco. One year from Apple and one from Costco. Costco warranty doesn't cover accidental. I opted out of AppleCare but you have 60 days from purchase date to buy AppleCare.

That is a common thing. Mine said the same thing. It is 100% new and sealed, but the warranty date has to do with the manufacturer date. Call Apple support with your device serial number. They emailed me a link to upload a copy of my receipt. The warranty on mine updated within a couple days on my pro with the correct date.
I just got this one as well in Surprise, AZ
Was this a great deal? Is it worth it ? Cuz my local store has only this version
I thought so. The same model refurbished from Apple is $1949 and the equivalent M3 Pro is $2399.
