This is a repost, there is already a thread for this deal and it's been this price since January.

It's fine, especially for the price. I keep a pair in my car for long phone calls with relatives and another at work for Zoom/Teams and it's totally fine for podcasts, youtube and conference calls/meetings. I hear everyone just fine and nobody yet has complained about not hearing me well. You are not going to get booming bass and audiophile depth, but I don't use it these for hi-res music either.

Most of these just have a qualcomm chip in them.
Qualcomm has been making wireless headphone chips for about a decade, which is when you started to see tons of them on the market.

You just pair a battery, a chip, and some drivers(speakers) and boom. You have a product.

Yes, there's no hdmi either. It's a low quality and low cost product which you can buy in bulk and don't worry to loose it. Throw away product. Sound quality below mediocre, there is no bass for music, even speech is not good, but I'm using few pairs because for $9 it's a no brainer

$9.88 is a "rollback" price (new regular price) for the black version. Should be the same for the white version, but it doesn't specify "rollback".

Speech is that bad? I was going to use these in the sauna to listen to some podcasts or audiobooks to avoid awkward talks with naked strange men

Going by the reviews they don't seem as bad as this person is saying but who knows

Guess for 9.88 shipped for the hassle of returning, I'll try them out. If they last six months from 30minute sessions in the sauna 2-4 times a week, I'll be happy.

The sound on this is decent, my big pet peeve is the fit- it fits horribly for gym use...falls out all the time. I don't even use it for non-stationary uses. You'd need an additional hook etc. (cheap on ebay) to make it not fall out, but then you have to add/remove the hooks to charge the darn thing. I prefer the ones with multi-size rubber tips for better fit.

In for a pair to replace the $8 Skullcandy Spoke I've had for the last 4 years. That was my last non-USB-C device except for my iPhone/AirPods which I'm hoping to switch to a USB-C model in the future. This pair will be for my laptop which is connected to my onn. TV.

I got these last month and returned. Very bad and tinny sound quality (even for cheap headphones). I do have the previous gen of these and the sound quality is much better in those.
