8GB RAM soldered kills the deal. Unless you are using it only for basic tasks this computer's performance will only decline as programs, OS updates start demaning even more ram.

And the Intel Iris XE graphics is limited with 8GB ram. Installing 16GB (2X8GB ) dual channel ram increases perfomance in games massively.

I am typing from the same model, which I paid $200 for refurbished last year. Here's my take:

1. I don't game/video edit so i3-1215u + 8GB ram is sufficient.
2. I read that this model has hinge design flaw so I try avoiding open/close lid.
3. the size is perfect but it's 0.5 lb heavier than my liking.

I consider it's the best $200 laptop purchase I made.
