Wow great find! I have all but not all in 4k. Vudu is always confusing with bundles and HDX, if anyone else had a previous HDX and now has it in 4k through this deal, please confirm… cheers!

I was wondering the same thing. It's a little confusing as when you click on the individual movies it says buy any format, get all formats and has the 4k format showing on all but 2 of the Superman movies. I went ahead and purchased though, as I didn't have any of these yet. They are all just showing HDX on VUDU. They are Movies Anywhere compatible but are only showing HD for each title. I'm good with it though for $30 which amounts to less than $3 per movie, and my receiver (Denon X3800) shows the display is outputting 4k when I press the info button on the remote... as I have my system set to upscale HD content. (TV is LG C1 OLED and using a Roku Ultra)

Yeah with Vudu you have to go with what the bundle says it is. Even if the individual movies are available in 4k if the bundle says hdx that's all you get. I may be wrong but I think that if ANY of the included movies aren't 4k the bundles never are.

iTunes is different in that the bundles always list as HD but any movies that are 4k you get 4k and they port out to Movies Anywhere too. If one of the non 4k movies upgrades later you get 4k in iTunes but the upgrade doesn't port out to MA.

But with iTunes tv shows that have early seasons in SD and later switched to HD, Futurama for example, if you buy the Complete Series you get the whole thing in SD. You have to buy individual seasons to avoid that. VUDU gives you the seasons in the correct quality with their bundles.

I ran into the same thing with a different bundle and called up and got a refund. They also have an email system but the phone call delivered immediate results. Their email responses usually take a while with multiple requests for information.

I ended up chatting with vudu support and within 5 minutes they refunded my purchase. I went with the fanflix bundle to get 4k copies. Way better deal. Thanks for the heads up.
