About this item:
Combining FromSoftware's longstanding expertise in mech games with their signature action gameplay, ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON brings a brand-new action experience to the series.
Players will pilot their mech in fast-paced, omni-directional battles, taking advantage of massive stages and their mech's mobility on land and in the air to ensure victory.
Customize Armored Core parts to suit a large variety of playstyles. Selecting different parts not only changes the mech's attacks, but also directly affects its movement and battle style, so each mission can be approached with a unique mech strategy.
Deploy a wide variety of offensive and defensive tactics at close and long range to take down powerful enemy bosses.
I mean, It's smart to run everything at 40FPS to begin with for battery life and whatnot... Trying to run all new games at 60FPS on Steam Deck is pretty doofy.

Can we talk about the deal instead of bickering who is the most Gam3r.
Did anyone buy the key from this site and how was the experience.
Any issues?
Worked for me. Never had a problem with cdkeys. One complaint I would say is the game is hard capped at 120 fps in the settings. So if you have a 144 hz TV or monitor you won't be fully utilizing it. Not without some sort of framerate mod anyway. Typical fromsoftware issue.

Cdkeys deals have been on Slickdeals for forever and I haven't seen anyone report an issue using the keys they provide..
Also…Chill out, obviously some are concerned about whether it's worth it or not at this price point. If you got a question just ask it.. that's kinda what a forum is for…
How's the HDR support for this on PC? Last I checked it was super wonky/not working at all, and I decided I would only ever get this on console.
Windows does a pretty good job of faking HDR IMHO. Looks like Nvidia also has tech now that works on all DX11 + DX12 games - check the Digital Foundry vid.

Fake HDR can be okay, but not really in games that should otherwise support it (i.e. it exists on the console version). But the main issue I've had with Windows HDR is it being improperly implemented and buggy. (not activating correctly so colors are messed up, not deactivating correctly so desktop colors are messed up after exiting a game)
I'm sure many will disagree, but I was super disappointed in the gameplay on this game. I realized it would still be a FromSoftware soulslike game, but it really takes the fun out of the mech side to do so. I've played mech games for so long and was really excited to get a new armored core game for PC, but even the tutorial level was really disappointing and non-controller play is quite jarring. I ended up returning the game as it was too far away from the mech experience I thought it would be.
Maybe I've played too much mech warrior since AC, but it was all about inflated difficulty instead of mech combat. I have no issue with difficult games, but I think they did it at the cost of losing the joy of a mech game.

I picked up Mechwarrior 5 in the current fanatical bundle and it's pretty cool with all the mod support on PC. There's even a mod that changes the player character to female voice acting and all which is impressive.

Same, it looks good, but I will probably put 5-10 hours in and move on, so I'm waiting a year or more for it to drop to $20-$25
