FYI, Bo-Katan Kryze's character was a female and it might be to big as these are more for teens and up (14+ on the box).

It will look quite large for a 9 year old. I recommend looking at Amazon reviews for some customer reviews on sizing.

I own this and the Mando helmet. Even as an average sized adult, these things feel VERY large. They would look screen accurate with a full Mando armor kit, but without... You feel like a bobblehead. Your 9yo would probably enjoy a budget 3d printed one from Etsy better, though this is a GREAT price.

**edited to add. My suggestion for a 3d printed one is because you could request it sized down to fit him better. My buddy made one for his 6 year old last year and it looked awesome in bare grey plastic!

They do also make a $20 front-half-of-the-head-only mask type helmet that might be better for the young'uns. A pro cosplayer will scoff at it, but probably easier than going the 3D route.

I have Mando's chrome helmet. Although the quality is great from a memorabilia standpoint, I found the fitting to be a lot tighter compared to the earlier Vader or Stormtrooper helmets. I wouldn't expect this helmet to be any different.
