Don't think so.

This has been this price for a while on Amazon Business account.
I considered one but built my own kit with the newer RM521 X65 modem(3CA vs 2CA) for the same price.

Thank you for your response. Where can I look for more instructions on building your kit similar to the one you mentioned. I do need to ensure that it is carrier independent.

SSo yeah, basically. I was going to pick up one of these. I did a lot of research on it, but they used the Qualcomm. X62. chipset. and it's nowhere near as fast as the X65 chipset. the 65 is 50% faster and chances are you're going to pay the exact same amount. for the service. And if you're spending 300 on this for only about 100 more, you can go with the x65 I built mine with a way more powerful. integrated wifi modem 8 antennas. TTL Spoofing. imei spoofing all for 400$

When you say IMEI spoofing, do you mean that you can trick T-Mobile into thinking it's a normal cellphone using the sim?

Yes, You can copy the imei of a device. You have to do this for services to work.

You can also lock towers and bands you wish.

It was great but I returned mine because Tmo home internet is so unreliable.

I looked into building my own router with 2 (Sierra Wireless) mobile modems a while ago and didn't like the "base" options that are out there. What are you shoving your cards into?

Is this useful if you want to travel with this internationally? I dunno if I can even get a SIM card in Japan but wondering if I can, if this is a good solution?
