I've tried to offer Boost Mobile my money more than once. Somehow they always mess it up.

I used Boost live chat and asked what UNLIMITED plan is included. Here is answer:
As per checking here, the plan that comes with the phone is the yearly plan for $300 and discounted to $150. That is the $25 plan. This plan includes unlimited talk, text and data throttled to 3G speeds after 35 GB of 5G/4G and 12GB hotspot.

Unlimited Plan in this deal is the $300 annual plan (12 months X $25 per month). The $25 a month plan is throttled at 512kbps after 30gb.

Should you stay past 1 year, Boost will automatically charge $300 for year 2 unless you disable auto-pay.

Expect Boost Mobile to send you a T-Mobile sim unless T-Mobile coverage is bad in your area. Then, you might get lucky and be sent an At&t sim. Highly improbable that you get a rainbow sim. Pretty sure 99% of the orders will get a T-Mobile sim.

If you already have an At&t sim and they sent you a T-Mobile one, I believe you can use the At&t one instead. Not 100% sure if this will work, but that is how people normally establish service using At&t towers instead of T-Mobile towers on Boost. Once you start on a T-Mobile sim, there is no way of changing it to At&t. When ordering, be sure to select the porting in option rather than getting a new number.

If you are currently a Boost Mobile customer and want to take advantage of this deal, you can port out as mentioned. However, you will need to start a new account with a new email address which means you would lose the remaining months on you annual plan and any Boost Coins earned but not used yet.

At checkout, the terms say the phone must be activated within 30 days. Failure to do so would result in Boost charging you the difference between the retail ($200) and this promo price ($40) = $160.

Boost policy for unlocking phones is 1 year of active service. Phone does not have to be continuously used the full year, but the account used to order the phone has to be active for the whole year.

i dunno but these phone choices by samsung needs to be questioned 2 year old phone.
cpu worse than 6a
ram lower than 6a
at least a25 has 6gb but still loses.

camera = worse than 6a both.
battery? 6a beats it...

performance is a lot worse while samsung focuses on unimportant parts of the phone.
WHY? why are these manufactures focusing on useless parts....

productivity in economy went down not up if thats the case meaning we became worse off economically and technologically not forward.
good job industry leaders are trash leading to a worse future where they are leeches.

i guess phones are truly stagnant right now and they are just coming out with worthless iterations of phones because they cannot do much. just making things less efficient and demanding higher prices.

like the chip shortage scam and now the ai chip scam.

These are budget phones while the pixel you mention is a midrange device.

2 year old mid range and was offered for free after signup on metro black friday sales and also samsung 23 fe would be all better choices.

we on slickdeals as old timers remember the real deals.

Pixel 7 pro was also offered by mint for a good price.

budget phones or not that's no excuse to be so much worse than 2 yr old phones presented as new phones.

just upgrade or lower the prices of the old phones wtf is this marketing gimmick shit.
you seem to forget long ago slickdeals used to be frequented by gamers IT types not just looking to flip and make a quick buck like the wall street types that got attracted here recently after the HF buyout.
now we get much more worthless deals...

do this if you need the boost mobile plan but the phone itself isn't much of a deal. the deal is the 15-16 dollar per month phone plan instead actually.
I'm just calling samsung out for fuking around just like apple deals that are not really deals.

As must as I'd like to take advantage of this deal, Boost was PIA with extra monthly random charges and requesting credit takes forever. Had to take it up with CC company.

I used PayPal to check out. As soon as my phones ship, I'm going to kill the billing agreement. So, hopefully no surprises.

if this was 7a or 6a i'll do it for 1 year but its only samsung a15 4 gb ram 6gb ram is necessary as a min for android now.

I dont mind entry level samsung but fix camera and ram at the min level and you got it.
too bad.

samsung come on this 15 is new and cant even beat 6a right now.
what ever.
For me - 1 year plan is worth itself $190 ($16 per month). And free budget phone as extra bonus.

I'll take a look. Haven't used Paypal much; figured if there are issues, easier to escalate it with credit card companies by providing them with proof.
I usually get Mint Mobile $15/mo plan and this deal is similar (includes newer phone vs what I have) and based on my notes (which I usually keep for future reference) and clearly states, Boost is POS and charged extra w/ sh**ty web setup...etc. Smilie LMAO

This Galaxy a15 is Boost Wireless Network/Smart Network/Rainbow SIM compatible: this phone will switch between all three networks.
I was sent the T-Mobile one. Went to the store bought a rainbow sim. Tried to activate it but you can't as the annual plan is tied to the T-Mobile sim card. You can only select a new plan. Customer service on phone said the same thing and they couldn't help. Even though my area has no T-Mobile coverage and excellent AT&T and now Dish.

Historically, that's been possible as the plan has been tied to the account -- not the SIM.

Would also appreciate confirmation this isn't any different.
Looks like they changed it to where the plan is tied to the SIM. This definitely sucks as there's no way to take advantage of this deal and use new rainbow sim. The rep said all annual plans come with T-Mobile or AT&T sim despite verifying that the phone is compatible with the new network. Only way to be sure to get it on new Dish network is to do it all in store. If anybody knows a workaround that would be great.

Thanks! Just need to confirm if boost allows wifi calling and sending/receiving international texts. I am with xfinity currently and I appreciate having these two features without additional cost.

I tried to post in reddit boost but my thread isn't showing.
If you do a google search wifi calling and boost this comes up: https://www.boostmobile.com/suppo...fi-calling
So I assume they do but would be nice if someone could confirm.

Sometimes even providers that have wifi calling, the txts sometimes come when just on wifi then sometimes they don't work every time. Is annoying.

Boost.

If you are doing this for the phone only, not a good deal.
