Just sharing for anyone considering this pillow… I love it and I'm pretty scrupulous when it comes to pillows. I'm 6', 185 lbs and in my 40s and use the medium. My wife is 5'7", 135 lbs. and uses the low. We've converted several other folks including her parents, who are also pillow snobs. We like that you can put your head on any part of the pillow and it feels like you're in the middle. And the pillows are HEAVY — so they don't slide around on top of your mattress.
Should I get standard or king?

Are you sleeping alone? A king. If with someone else, I'd get a standard unless your mattress is also a king.

The King is 8-inches longer (giggity) , and about 50% heavier due to about 50-percent more volume, but every other dimension is the same. If you have a king size bed or want a longer pillow, you get the king.

Just upgraded from a queen to king, got a temper king arriving next Wednesday. So doing the pillow upgrade thing.

She got the pillow purple at store she loved it. But no returns, so im ordering mine from purple so I could refund.

I'm set on medium harmony for harmony tho 5'8 150-155lbs and side sleeper w some back sleep.

Also ordering dreamlayer pillow for test reasons. But I've never had a king pillow, could order standard + king as test. Return one undesireable

God this has been expensive. IKEA brimnes + storage headboard + lonset slats = almost $900. Then 2399 temper king adapt hybrid from, then few hundred in pillows and sheets comforter.

Will be worth it

Yes, she's a 80/20 side/back sleeper.

Consumer Reports doesn't rate this pillow highly.
Just to provide a little more context to that...

CR gives it a 56 rating which is pretty pretty low.
Specifically, it fell very short in Resiliency, scoring a 1 out of 5
Quote :
Resilience: A combination of characteristics analyzing how the pillow's firmness, height, and support change with use.
Interestingly, all 14 reviewers on CR said they would recommend it to a friend while 9 of the first 20 reviews of the top rated pillow said they would NOT recommend it.
(Not that all reviews can be trusted, although maybe reviews on CR are more trustworthy than some others)

Between myself and two other family members we have like 20 chase cards and none of them have the 10%.
I have multiple Chase cards with the 10% off Purple offer but they all say you have to spend $500

How's this when you use it as back rest. Sitting in bed using the headrest for back support and watching movies for 3/4 hours

I mostly sleep on my side and the sams club serta(?) pillows at 2/$10 have been my absolute favorites for a long time.

Customer Service at Purple is awesome. They were able to send (through separate requests and for two pillows) the other 2 insert sizes at no cost and was able to figure out what height works for my sleep habits.
