Decent deal but Costco members may want to wait for another sale. Just about the same price, except Costco has a 5 year warranty versus one year here.

We've had ours(2022 55") for almost 2 years now. Paid $960 w/additional bezel. It's fooled quite a few people into thinking that it's a picture frame. As far as TV's go, it's pretty mediocre. But I expected that. By far the worst part is the Samsung operating system - Tizen OS. I think now it's finally at the point where it's stable, somewhat quick and doesn't hang up all the time. But man was it not like that before. The remote itself has solar on the back so I rarely ever have to charge it via the USB C interface.

Are you talking about the LG G series? If so it's not really a knock off of this. It share a similar low profile form factor but it's not a matte screen and being OLED picture quality should be way better and also more expensive.

I have a 2018 which I think is Tizen 1.0 or 2.0 and it's been completely unusable for about 3.5-4 years (smart features) so I'd recommend to anyone expecting to buy a Samsung's to just be ready to buy an external box which shouldn't be a problem if you're in the market for a tv like this. Obviously you'd have a more up to date experience but last I heard Samsung's is still injecting ads all over menus so for that reason alone I'd stop connecting it to the internet. Also Samsung doesn't follow through on promises So anything that's not included with the TV at time of purchase, don't expect they'll add it, update it, or mail it out later.

On my S90C at least, I don't see any ads unless I scroll down past what's visible by default on the home screen... I just have a row of all my applications and then a "last viewed" area.

This isn't a good deal. If you make a shit TV overpriced and then cut prices it doesn't make it a good deal.

All of our Samsung, LG, Sony... TVs (one of them a Frame 65") are running with an external ROKU box. One of these guys should just give up and buy ROKU.

I've been looking for something to replace my projector screen setup and this has been on my radar for some time. I missed out on some deals during the Super Bowl sales because I just could not pull the trigger on it. So, I just said: "F#*< it!" and grabbed an 85" unit. I just hope I don't regret this decision. EEK! UGH.

I had no problem. my buddy has three of these tv in the hallway of his home. he also has a synology RS1221RP+ NAS. I setup a folder on his NAS and made the folder public/ no pw.
in the tv, there's a media player that can locate a network folder \\server\picture\folder and was able to play through a set of pictures. but it's not in art mode. it just goes through them like a slide show.
I do this for mp4 videos. We hosted a Halloween party and I made all the tv run the mp4 videos from atmosfx. the zombies, monster floating head, scary lady, etc. on all the tv in a loop.

I've never actually heard of anyone using the built-in OS for anything. They make Google TV or Firesticks for a reason!

Owned for about 2 years now. Art mode on this TV is awesome. TV is fine, sound is fine. I've never had anyone complain about the picture quality. Hidden best feature is that the matte finish does not glare. We have this is a room that is all windows and it looks great and never had a glare
