Bought the Moto Edge+ 2022 512GB from Boost last year for my spouse. Should have activated it I guess, but skipped right to getting an unlock code from eBay. Four months later start getting warnings that I have to activate it soon, or they're gonna charge me several hundred dollars more for the phone.

Thing is their own web site caused me problems trying to buy it with whatever stupid security checks they try to do. I wound up only being able to buy it by using a one-time-use fake credit card number from the Privacy.com app, and as such wasn't all that worried about it. Sure enough, when they went to charge me (and they actually tried something like $150 more than they threatened), the charge was denied by Privacy.com. They dug their own grave on that one, and I don't feel the least bit sorry about it.

From what I can tell, the Samsung A25 is not officially supposed to be part of the 1/2 priced $300 plan bundled with a promotional priced phone. What the OP did was change the DeviceID in the URL to add the A25 to the shopping cart instead of the A15.

DeviceID A15 - SMA156UBK128
DeviceID A25 - SMA256UBK128

If someone could figure out the DeviceID of the other promotional priced phones, in theory they could replace the Samsung with a different device and add it to the $150 annual plan into the shopping cart. Replacing the A15 with the Celero 5G should reduce the total cost to $160. Replacing the A15 with the Moto Razr 2023 would raise the price to $350. Unknown of course is whether the order would actually go through.

My order went thru for the A25. Fingers cross it doesnt get canceled. Kinda crappy if this was not a valid deal since i would not have mind getting the A15 deal either.

Boost must have the dumbest IT / software/ marketing department if they don't bother to so a simple phone-model validation for a sale deal.

They had a similar blunder with the iphone xr refurbs last year. I ended up getting mine with no hassles so you should be fine.
