Why do you want one with an AMD CPU instead of Intel? I'm just curious if theres a better use case or better performance with amd so wanted to know for my own info
I believe the primary driver is better battery life.
Generally AMD have better battery life than Intel with a possible small hit in performance.
I have amd and intel based gpu's in my laptops. I believe the amd laptop runs much cooler. The amd gpus from 3 years ago were less powerful and more energy efficient, hence better battery life. The recent amd gpus aren't low power anymore but I think they still run cooler meaning the laptop is quieter.

I meant directly from Lenovo. I would consider that one, but it is $250 more than this. Even double the RAM doesn't quite make up for that kind of price difference!
