Because people want what they want, and that's okay.
I'm not saying it's not OK, it's just that I think it would be nice to know why

How can this be an actual Apple refurb?

But why would anyone need 1TB on a phone? 256-512 should be more than enough

Why would you keep valuable photos and videos locally? That's a huge risk.
Once you start paying for cloud storage, it never stops. They've got you hooked like a drug addict.

Brand new iphone 14, 256gb from Apple is $829. You would have pay $239 more (829-590)
Now it's "only $799, but still $200 more.

On my first and last Woot! purchase they sent the wrong phone. Not a good first impression and no phone or chat was available for help.

Why would anyone need 256-512, I can make do with 16GB so everyone else needs to be held to my standards

From the site; "Hey, you there! These phones were refurbished by Apple, are in pristine like-new condition, have at least 90% battery life, and come in a sleek custom black box. They come with a 90 Day Woot Warranty."
Top kek. Imagine being a moron stupid enough to fall for this shit from a junk disposal website stocked with trash from reseller scumbag rejects selling on Amazon

Amazon has decent return policies, and these prices aren't bad.

I ended up getting from a 3rd party site instead for $492 (but 256 gigs instead of 512 or 1 TB)

Made the mistake of buying a name brand memory foam mattress from Woot NIB for a good price (the deal was quite popular on SD). Did not check the warranty details closely. A few weeks in and the mattress was still lumpy as hell. Finally contacted the manufacturer and they refused any warranty and referred me back to Woot. That is when I realised that Woot had their own 90 day warranty (which I missed by a few days) and there was zero coverage from original manufacturer. Took my lumps from that purchase but now no longer shop on Woot.

just look for renewed on amazon, its not 512gb but still quicker shipping and amazon is easier returns

I was comparing these to Gazelle. Anyone have experience with buying a phone from there?
I had a positive experience with gazelle. Bought a Pixel 7 pro 512gb rated "excellent" for $500 last April. The phone was basically new. Had 99% battery health. Recommending it to my wife who just lost her iPhone.
