Does this pair well with a nugget for little kids?

This is cool, but the nugget is much better quality. The nugget is sturdy enough. If you have a couple of them, you can make a fort which is much sturdier than these. Not bad, but I would definitely go for the nugget.
Second this. Nugget is better quality and worth the extra money.

Much smaller than the nugget, and not as nice feeling. Overall good for the money but keep that in mind.

Nugget vs yourigami.. It depends what your kids are going to do with it. The "thick" piece of the nugget is thicker/sturdier for climbing and other standalone builds. (If you make it into a tee pee, it'll hold up to some climbing of a young kid.) The yourigami thick piece will not withstand that same level of climbing.

BUT the yourigami has more pieces and the cut out "windows" which lend itself well to fun builds if you're making forts.

My kids enjoy both equally, for different reasons. When they are wanting to climb and be crazy, they go with nugget. When they want to be creative and play pretend, yourigami.

They are differently sized pieces so building with both brands together can be awkward and not as stable as you'd think. (For example, Nugget triangle is bigger than yourigami triangle.)

Nugget fabric/zipper quality feels more premium but I haven't had any issues with yourigami so far.

I think I personally enjoy the nugget more because it's less pieces to clean up and put away. I've had to use the nugget customer service before and it's super good with replacing covers if they wear down. Nice that you can buy new nugget covers to change up the look too.

But I don't think you can go wrong with yourigami. I bought it after having experience with the nugget and I don't regret it. It's a good deal for sure. Basically i encourage you to just buy everything and let these play couches consume your home.

As a fellow both-brand-owning parent this is exactly what I would have said albeit I would have done so less eloquently.

They both have their uses; I scored a nugget frame ( https://madeforblank.com/ ) on marketplace so the nugget spends most of its time doubling as a couch. The yourigami, being lighter is easier for my 5yo to build with but not as sturdy.

It's really hard to say which is better because they're better in different ways. Nugget is definitely better fabric and better cushions, but more expensive and less pieces and the yourigami is more...flexible.

Just pay an extra $100 and get the rest of the sofa too. That way the fort cushions have a good storage place for when the kids aren't using it.
You're giving me fomo on the rest of the sofa. Can you please provide more context? What is the $100 extra?

Does anyone know if these are any cheaper in warehouse? I am guessing since they are larger item the shipping might be significant which I can probably save on by buying from store?

I saw this couch in store about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I went to the store today and a different one and had no luck finding it in store

We ended up with two of these over Christmas and I've got to say, I didn't realize how much fun it would be for the parents too. I get to put on my big engineering hat and come up with all sorts of configurations to keep our kids' interest. it's a huge upgrade over pillow and blanket forts but let you imagination run wild and do add blankets, playpens, chairs and whatever else to the mix for the ultimate fort.

We even use them as makeshift sleepover beds for the cousins. Everyone's favorite thing to do with them now, although dangerous but kids be kids, is to stack all the pieces with the punch outs, have a kid jump in from the top, knock it over sideways, and then roll them around like a barrel all over the house. Suffice to say, the pieces can take a beating

In terms of health safety, the nugget is CertiPUR-US certified and free of mercury, lead, and formaldehyde. Most foam material contains flame retardants which makes the material toxic. I'm not sure about this brand but I have not found another brand that is both high quality and safe for your health.

It says it is in the product description. Are you all being paid by Nugget or something?
