Not a bad deal, but greentoe is the same price with tax already included.
I disagree, C3 easily competes with the s89/s90 in PQ and imo it's a more accurate PQ.

Looking at this comparison, you can see all those ratings are not much better but much more alike.

It also doesn't support Dolby Vision which higher quality form of HDR.

Samsung may be better on paper but its processing is not as good as LG/Sony imo after seeing both calibrated.

Looks like this deal is actually Beach Camera. Selecting ship from Walmart gets it back up to 2300. Hmm.

You can still get that 3 year or more warranty for about 2k. Sure maybe a bit less quality control but if you get a good unit which tons of people do you get a superior tv if you have any issues you're covered under warranty and even if you want to claim you know the quality control is worse you have no hard data. You can get a s89c 77 inch and 3 year warranty for about this price from bestbuy any issues they'll swap your tv with the new model ez decision when the picture quality is much better c3 has no business being this expensive it's almost equal to c1 c2 or even cx can't compete with mla and new qd oled models
Meh. Looked on RTINGS, still no polarizer. Maybe the picture quality is better if you are in the dark. But I rarely watch tv with the lights off. Until Samsung figures out how to include a polarizer I will be sticking with LG for OLEDs.

What happens, exactly, when you have a problem and need to use your Samsung warranty? Oh yea, they send over a tech who cuts it with a knife when you are in the other room - then try to get you to take down the YT video...

This TV can be had at lower prices if willing to purchase a product with a refurbished designation.

Agreed. I bought the s95b and returned it a week later. On paper it was everything I wanted, but between the awful color and auto-dimming (ASBL) it turned me off so fast. I bought the A95k and later the C3 for a different room, much better color from both.

True but I have a bias towards LG/Sony OLEDs and do want Dolby Vision which I don't have confidence Samsung will adopt so I've stuck to looking at the C3 or possibly A80L.

I think the price is good and no problem paying it the curiosity for the lower price is more because I don't have to upgrade but wouldn't pass up a really good deal if something comes about. Have a 75" X900F that is still a great TV but also have 55" C8 and 48" C1 elsewhere so would like to get my main movie watching TV onto OLED finally, especially after recently getting a PS5 since that make gaming really stand out.
Yea, no need to rush in your position.

I hear you on gaming on OLED, I just recently got a gaming desktop, finally, and figured out how to enable HDR to work in fortnite and finally got to see 1440p native in hdr.

Oh my it's just stunning, you can really tell the difference when HDR is working properly and the jump to 1440p too.

I haven't been this impressed with a leap in gaming performance since I got my first 3dfx voodoo 2 and a 21" nec crt monitor.
