I have one loc where brick says they have 11 Tide Febreze but I question that it's the hood-hood loc, where household is locked up and/or behind the counter with staff. I laughed when I saw the pile of toilet paper back there.
I don't want to go to locked up stores. It's too much of a hassle especially if I'm going to multiple stores looking for the Tide. I don't want to waste time with something that might not be a deal. On the other hand, you might have the best chance of finding it at that store.

Those 92 ou Tides are a pain to lug to the price scanner. So I took pics of every UPC code and now just stand and scan them all before I even go back to the aisle. If CVS ever takes the scanners out, I'm afraid I'm done shopping there. 90-95% of what I buy at that store is clearance and always needs to be price checked. There are so many stores around me that just plain don't tag clearance. I can't figure it out. Many are super quiet stores. Seems like the workers could have time to get it done. Another store gets clearance tags out immediately. (That's the one I explore first.) 😁

CVS has turned into a waste of time. I'm going to spend my extra bucks on whatever and then destroy my cards. They are as dead as dead can be. I'll head on over to Wags and try my luck there. Wags can really suck but it's 1000 times better than CVS even when the RR's don't print.

I'm not a digital person. I never bring my phone with me when I shop. I should've been born 50 years sooner. I would've fit into that world perfectly. I'm totally out of place in today's world. I feel like a dinosaur. All of the skills I have, like being a math whiz and having a photographic memory, are completely useless. I can just take a picture of the item in the case. I never would've thought of that. I'd spend 15 minutes waiting for the clerk and then it wouldn't be on clearance. I'd get to the next store right as a lady on her phone is putting all of the Tide into her basket.

I just had $3 tide coupons a week or so ago on all my cards, and today they were all back on my account again.

Here's the other side. Eugene posted an Airwick deal yesterday and today my dq's are gone. It might be more helpful to everybody to not post a deal because CVS is just going to kill it. CVS can't kill a deal if they don't know what it is. The only way they know is if we tell them. I've been watching the clearance Airwick since the second coupon came out but I forgot to check yesterday because I was focused on Tide. Airwick was right across the aisle from Tide. The moral of the story is that the second a deal is posted you have to run to the store otherwise it will get pulled. I used to joke about every deal being a run deal but it's true. You can't sit around and go tomorrow if the deal is important to you. Airwick wasn't so I don't really care other than I was right there and I should've checked.
CVS pulls DQs all the time when the allotment the manufacturer has provided have all been clicked on. In addition, many times, DQs are available for a whole week and don't expire for another week, but if you don't chose them during the first week, they disappear. CVS has seldom pulled a DQ simply because people are getting too good of a dea. It has happened a few times, but not often.

Also, we might as well share here as these things are getting shared elsewhere. I've seen it on i heart and the FB group I follow. I still say some people choose to not share because it makes them feel special.

Your suggestion that this is a good reason to hide a good deal found from everyone else on SD will just perpetuate the idea in some people's minds that they are doing good for the community.
I clipped them the day they came out. I'm sure that CVS targeted my cards because I posted about it. It wouldn't be the first time. It seems like every time I post about something, CVS zaps me. Maybe you think I'm crazy but I know the difference between what's random chance and what's a calculated move. CVS doesn't want people like me with multiple cards shopping there so they take away my coupons so that I'll leave. I could open up some new cards but what's the point? They'll just figure out it's me and zap me again. Shopping at CVS is like electroshock therapy. You should see my hair when I walk out of the store...

On the other topic, I don't know. I'm too old and tired to fight about stuff. I don't think it's right to tease a deal and then not deliver. On keeping a deal secret because you know that it will get pulled, that's a totally different topic. People join social media groups to keep stuff quiet. If they wanted to share everything, they'd all be on here.

I do CVS light, mostly getting 1 or 2 very straightforward deals from the ad combined with whatever coupon they email me. I look for the buy x qty, receive ECB offers bc I like to pay with ECBs that knock me outta the spend $, Get $ offers. Takes less time and feels worthwhile for my needs even though their sales offers aren't like the good ol days anymore. LOL

I was doing fine at CVS just getting Covergirl and Tide until last summer when they killed the deals. Then I started doing a couple of deals each week and using the email coupons (usually $4 or $5). Now I hardly ever get an email coupon and I never get a x/xx so I'm going to bail on CVS. It's not worth the frustration when I go on the other site and see everybody with more x/xx's than they know what to do with.
