I've owned this for about a year now. I was able to get this during a bed bath & beyond going out of business sale for about this price if I remember correctly. I had always saw these and thought "how cool!". So I pulled the trigger and got it. It works nicely and as advertised but let me tell you the novelty wears off quickly. You look at it from time to time but it definitely gets old quick and isn't worth the cost. Wish I could get my money back but that time is long gone. Save your money.

Thank you! I almost pulled the trigger on an Amazon Warehouse open box of this exact one for $381 a few days ago. This is an incredible deal!

To the naysayers:
- you can get one for under $59.99. It's the Kiwi kids brand you have to assemble yourself and is tiny compared to this one, which is the size of an end table
- there's glass over the top so no cat can pee in it
- and at is an incredible price for not just this specific brand, but in general. The next best brand, Sisyphus, starts at $690 for a 17" table top version. This one is 21"

Concept was cool. I remember they were selling for 60% off and had many when BBB was shutting down. Even then couldn't swallow that price tag.

Hopefully temu or AliExpress will create a super cheap replica

Saw a few of these at a spa once. Not sure if they were the same brand but they were pretty quiet from what I remember. I think there was a faint hum though but not noticeable unless you got up close and even then it wasn't intrusive. Seems perfect for a spa or yoga studio but pretty pricey just to have around the home. Also it did get kinda old after about 10 minutes of staring at it. But it was a mesmerizing 10 minutes Smilie

Actually someone might have the right idea about cats. Not that they would pee in it but I bet this would keep them entertained for hours.

It doesn't make much noise. You can have it on and being sitting near it with a minimal grinding sound because of the marble and sand. The motor that makes the magnet move doesn't make much noise either. Overall it's a pretty quiet device but not completely silent.
