I will pile on and say that I also tried this brand a few years back and it did not last anywhere near as long as advertised. As it's been said, probably a handful of months before it started showing damage and wear from normal use. I'm not even sure it holds up any better than your run of the mill big box store pan.

edit: for the record, I did hand wash as per instructions, and while some wear is expected the damage was to the point where the pan was no longer functioning as a *nonstick* pan

I cancelled my order based on the reviews and comments. If someone could actually invent a nonstick, dishwasher safe, non-toxic pan that lasts 5+ years it would be a miracle.

my greenpan has been 2+ years and its been great, no high heat cooking, and hand washing only. Eggs have been cooked on it almost every day.

I don't think there is a pan set at this price point that isn't going to have signs of wear after a few months. At this price, I think it's worth a shot and it's time to replace my older green pan set.

FWIW, I think it varies widely by user. I have the Chatham set (which is a step below this); I've been using for 3 years almost daily and they have held up quite well. I'd like to upgrade to this set, but not sure I can justify since the set I have now is still fine. I read a lot of bad reviews before buying, but ultimately chose because it seemed like most negative reviews did not handwash.

I got this set for Xmas. They get light use, are hand washed, and are treated with TLC. After one month, discoloration set in, after 2 months, I see light to moderate scratches and heavier discoloration. Good luck.

Have the 3 pack frying pan set of these, hand wash and do not use cooking sprays. So far that have been good but it has only been a few months. They do get used daily however.
Project farm just did a test on pans also if you're interested. These were included I believe.
