If anyone is interested in hiking pants, Sam's sells pants called "Denali Travel Performance Pant". It's a nylon stretch pant that will dry faster than a cotton blend. It looks good enough for a business casual setting, but is also a great hiking pant at only $15. It has a zippered cellphone pocket which is awesome for ski lifts, zip lining, etc. Take a look at what very similar nylon hiking pants cost at REI.

A friend turned me on to these and now it's all I wear. I literally rotate between 3 pairs of these. The first pair (getting worn every other or every third day) has lasted over 3 years with no needed repairs. I do re-wax them occasionally to make sure they are hardwearing. Too bad they don't have 48 long at this price.
