Simply not competitive at current prices. Neither quality or price justifies purchasing this unit at $5k vs other superior 98/100" units that are lower in price (even after paying for a 5yr warranty on the tvs if reliability is your concern - a far longer warranty than you'll get with the Samsung).

U8K is available for $3k and is a much better TV in entry way. This just is insanely expensive at this price for what it delivers, to be even posted as a slick deal.

The only reason not to buy the U8K would be reliability. But you can get a 5 Yr warranty at best buy and still save 1500$ and end up with a TV that matches with the Samsung flagship QLED.

To be fair, the U8K is not really available anymore. Sold out Amazon and Best Buy for most.
