not sure you're serious but even reading only the numbers:
14" screen vs 15" (and thus numerical pad)
16 vs 32GB RAM
256gb vs 1TB SSD
and that one's a refurb...

For the price this deal might be a steal with that processor and RAM. The 250 nits screen is the only major underwhelming feature.

Maybe for some people. I've got a laptop with a 250 nit screen in front of me right now and I have the brightness set to 10%. If you don't plan to use it outdoors or with a window facing the screen, more brightness may not be necessary.

Of note: Never used Zip pay. It says there may be a $6 fee. Sounds like there will be a $6 fee.laugh out loud
But maybe not if you can pay it off right away, I am told. Thanks Suryasis.

  • No num pad. Unusual for this size. Deal killer for me.
  • Rebate...been a while since that was a hoop for a laptop deal. Deal killer for some.

Man, this has a numpad, check the image. Regarding Zip Pay, We have posted a lot of deals in the past. Instead of installment after purchasing the product, you can just pay the full amount without any delay and I think that will avoid any kind of fees or interest charge.

Thanks. So, zip pay is a BNPL platform and can be paid off immediately ? Do you know if zip pay payment will earn 5% with U.S.Bank cash+ electronics category ? Regular Newegg checkout will, I believe.

Repped for your catch. I don't know how I missed it. Maybe from some other open tab.Peace
I wonder how you pay it off, since it is automatically spread out, but I believe you. Again, no experience. But to save $6 I would do that!

Specs are almost perfect, expect it really needs more USB-C ports - ideally thunderbolt or USB4.

I find it interesting that msi is making basic computers that aren't geared for gaming. Kinda strange imo

Finally a basic laptop that meets all of my requirements for a decent price (after rebate).

I have been searching for something from a reputable maker (not Gateway) that has a 15.6" screen, Core i5 or i7 13th gen, backlit keyboard, 16 GB or more RAM (32 is nice), 1 TB SSD, and 4 USB ports.

Everything around $350 to $400 that I have been looking at since Christmas last year was missing the backlit keyboard, or only had 500 GB SSD, or only 3 USB ports.

Never paid for a computer in installments before, but seems like a nice option.

I couldn't figure out how to get out of the $6 fee, but I figure it's nice to pay it over time so $6 is not too bad.
