Is this equal to the gold except the color or a lesser machine?

Are the comb attachments made of metal or plastic on this model?

I had gotten one years ago and they were plastic. Would be impressed if they were metal

Is this as good as the Oster Classic 76. I have using the Oster for the past 10yrs to cut my own hair, and I love it. But I am tired having to drag the cord around. Also, is changing blades about the same as changing it on the Oster (two screws)? I assume so since the pictures shows only the two screws. And is the blade as sharp?
I have not have to change the blade on the Oster yet. Thanks.

FYI: Bought the Oster at a similar price point back then.

i bought this for a similar price maybe 6 months ago. ended up returning it, the battery ran out much quicker then the advertised claim and overall the performance was underwhelming for the price.

ended up going with a wahl 5 star senior clippers for slightly cheaper price. superior product imo

if you are serious about getting a clipper, got the corded one.

those cordless ones are pretty much throw away after 2 years due to battery issues.

The trimmer of this is one of the best. The clipper is pretty widely known as trash though, but pretty! Lots of good cordless options though.

You've been using the same blade for 10years? Wait.. you've been using the same clippers for 10years?! I use Wahl Legends and Andis outliners and have replaced blades or full units within that time.

Amazing clippers, cheap crappy guards and unfortunately I've been through two of them in two years. One was battery issues the other was extremely loud no matter how I tried to fix it. Still worked but I couldn't tolerate it anymore.

Switched to stylecraft ergo and haven't looked back

I have both the Oster 76's and the gold version of the BaByliss Pro (in gold). I'm not a professional but have been cutting my son's and husband's hair for years.

I don't think I need to tell you that the Osters are fantastic and set a high standard for any other clippers. I've also used the Andis T-Outliners for about 8 years just for line work. (I love those but they get extremely hot very quick.)

I had been eyeing the BaByliss Pros for a few years and finally bought them about 6 months ago. At first, I was a little disappointed but after zeroing them out as close as my Outliners, I freaking love them! I don't have any attachments so I can't answer for that, but I do search for a reason to use them every chance I get. 😂

Btw, I recently had a hair stylist friend of mine borrow them and after using them for about 30 seconds, looked at them and said, "What are THESE?! Omg! They are fantastic!" Needless to say, these will be her next investment.
