They do have spicy chicken. Actual spicy chicken unlike spicy sauce on "spicy" chicken sandwiches at Popeye's. You can even get jalapenos on sandwiches at Jollibee.
Definitely a troll. Do you work for them? Or you're one of those proud nationalist Filipinos who are super proud when something from the Philippines is in the headlines and nothing bad can be said about it? LMAO
There is a Jolibee by me that I have been wanting to try. Looks like the spicy chicken is a good grab? What about the pasta dishes? Any other suggestions?
I just remembered that I had watched Joshua Weissmans best chicken sandwich video and I believe Jolibee won that.. by a landslide.

I had Jollibee's 8 pieces bucket chicken and 2 chicken sandwiches (one spicy and one regular) for the first time last year. The bucket chicken was gross. Lots of fat. It was as bad as KFC near me. Not sure I just got a bad 8 pieces batch. I was very disappointed especially people on SD raves about their chicken. However, their chicken sandwiches were 2nd to Popeyes. IMO. If I eat there again I would only get their chicken sandwiches.
First, thanks for your honest review. I dont work for the restaurant but I always appreciate an honest review.
As someone who's born and raised in the Philippines, food quality/flavor is about half as important (to me) as closing my eyes, walking in, and smelling, hearing, and feeling like "home."
People have to remember that this is a fast-food-franchise similar to the two you mentioned: KFC & Popeye's. The food is not meant to be any better than those you mentioned. As far as price is concerned, people like me are not paying for the food, but the experience, which is definitely expensive.

people in here complaining a fried chicken joint doesn't have white meat . LOL. why even bother eating fried chicken if you're just going to handicap the flavor with white meat.

My honest review is that Jollibee as a franchise has the best fried chicken in my area. no "only fat pieces" like the other guy, no foul odors, no buckets of oil. I have 3 Popeyes locations near me that overcook the chicken EVERY TIME. it's Always dry, the Mac N Cheese is ALWAYS burnt, DRY Rice. they all suck within the past 3 years. they USED to be good. KFC is the 3rd best and only when I wasnt some soggy breading on my chicken, at that point it's useless. THEY ALL cost about the same for a bucket of chicken. not sure why people say it's more expensive.
They're currently struggling to acquire spices for their spicy check.. been going on for months now
This is the craziest thing ever. I refuse to go buy their regular chicken. How could a national chain run out of spices. This is Philippines Management 101.

Best Jollibee in the ny area is the one at American dream mall in nj. I've had the one in queens and nyc. And the one in nj tastes 110% better with twice the size of meat. Incase any one of you are wondering! A ten piece is usually $28. So I'll add a pie for dessert and this deal is slick! Hahha I always say it's worth the price increase compared to Popeyes and KFC. Only at the American dream location tho.
