Note these are 1.2v like most nimh rechargeables. Regular alkaline are usually 1.5v. Most things won't care about the difference, but I've had some products that refused to work with the lower voltage. Worth checking the intended device first if you have a specific use in mind.
Not a bad deal if you only want 8, but the 16 pack of these is basically the same price and has been for some time. We've moved almost exclusively to eneloop's for everything normal around the house, and for certain things I'll use energizer lithiums. We don't even buy duracell/energizer/rayovak/etc. normal AAA/AA's anymore, they are cheaper sure, but they ALL leak the last few years and it's simply not worth ruining devices.

If only Costco would bring them back, they were way cheaper there.

That said given inflation, it's not a bad price, I had an order of these all the way back in 2014 in Amazon history and they were $18 then.
oh, AAA's again...

still waiting on a decent AA sale

What chargers are people using these days? I guess my eneloops and la cross BC 700 from 2011 might be ready for replacing...
The trouble I ran into with the Lacrosse chargers were those crazy power supplies. 2 of them failed. They are odd supplies and sort of pricey to replace. I finally built my own.

The LADDA from ikea are a little cheaper
Like it's been covered in other threads, apparently these are not made in Japan and not the same Ladda Eneloops they used to sell that are white.

The box says "made in Japan" on the back... Are they lying?

You're going to believe a box over a stranger on the internet you've never met and will likely never interact with again?

Most will say 1.5v but will work with 1.2, but some will not. There's really no way to know for sure until you put the batteries in and turn on

The lithiums are probably the ones that are one time use batteries (for when the Eneloops won't do). I switched to the same format since moving to Texas. Something about the environment here destroys regular alkaline batteries like crazy.

Are there any examples of devices that these do not work in? I have yet to find one but am curious
