Gaming? Very entry level. 12400f is rather low end. And 3050 is barely there. But for the person that dabbles in pc gaming. I can see it. Fitting for Sam's club

Yeah ok. This rig would be MORE than fine to play most games at 1080p high detail. But if you want to pay $1500 more for 15 more FPS, have at it.
Incredible value if you can get it. 60FPS high at 1080 for nearly everything. About 20K CPU passmark. If the 500w PSU is accurate there's even a GPU upgrade path. Great first pc.
Can someone help me here. I bought this for a midtower case to replace a 2700x. Ive read that these run hot. Can you give me suggestions for cooling. If youve got experience with this cpu, tell me how you dwalt with it. Thanks
Don't think this CPU is much more powerful than a 2700x.
Yes. My review was more negative than it should have been at this price point. This is a decent rig for $399. But not for $1k+
No not for 1k, but still...to say its for people who "dabble" in PC gaming is a dumb statement to make. It can play almost ALL games on 1080P on Ultra detail at 60 FPS or better.
You make it sound like it can run Minecraft and that's it. I mean really...think about those statements before you make them as a lot of people here dont know anything about gaming PC's. https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVI...500.0.html
99.9% of the people don't need a PC that can run Cyberpunk on 4k at 80 FPS. Hell, I would venture to say NO ONE needs that.
This is as good of a deal that you'll find in the price range. I had the previous generation version of the processor and it was a nice chip. $400 would be reasonable even if this didn't have the 3050. This is a solid entry level gaming PC.

But it can't be found at that price more like 1K everywhere.

This one was on the last post. Is it better or not that much of a difference. I'm new to PC…😎☝️
