Serious question; do the newer ones work better then old ones? I have a old one that needs a replacment part .... debating about buying the part on ebay for $25 or is it time to upgrade???

I bought this refurbished from eBay last month, seems brand new as far as I could tell. It was and still is $200 and I think it is commonly that price, it is straight from iRobot themselves. Has an extra year warranty as well. Has been working really well with no complaints, only have a 1 bedroom though at the moment. Ultimately decided to go with iRobot for the cheap parts, modularity and ease of maintenance/repairs over roborock, don't really care about mapping/navigating yet and it doesn't bother me it bumbles around aimlessly sometimes
