FYI, if you already own the main game the DLC's are on sale as well. $2.88 for both. Careful, I almost bought the expansion pass for $2.49 but at the last moment I notice it doesn't activate in the US. (a VPN might fix that)

Edit: LOL what idiot downvoted me and why? Sad soul.

BTW, should have mentioned the 'enhanced' edition runs pretty bad, low frame rates, on the Steam Deck (looks fantastic though) however the standard version performs perfect. I think the ray tracing (here) is just too much for the Deck. You can get the enhanced version to be playable but requires the resolution to be turned down so much you start to get blurred objects. Non-enhanced looks better when you factor that in. Both versions should be included with key and gameplay-wise I do not think there is any difference between them.

If you don't own the first two yet and/or prefer console play, Playstation has the Metro bundle with all three games and DLC for $8.99:

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this game got me interested in single player games again after YEARS of not playing them. I played the shit out of Gears of War (the first one) single player campaign and then got Xbox Live for the first time and ever since then I never found any single player game as fun as the online multiplayer. It feels like every campaign for the longest time has either been an interactive movie or mindless AI that you mow through without any form of difficulty whatsoever. But playing Exodus absolutely blew me away and made me realize there are still some single player games worth experiencing.

Do yourself a favor and buy this if you've never played it, do not watch any videos or reviews on the game, and play it in the Ranger Hardcore mode (or at the very least Hardcore). It is an insanely well made and immersive game and the open world maps/zones are just right in terms of size. It's the perfect balance of open world exploration and linear storytelling and progression.

Looks like you enjoyed tinkering more than the game itself.
Jokes aside, I probably do spend more time tinkering with games and hardware, than actually play themSmilie It's true.

I was thinking the same! I personally don't put that much thought in it (I used to though) but can't fault them for wanting to get the max out of their system. I probably would have been fine barely scraping by at 165 FPS

This almost makes me want to see how my lowly 13400F / 4060 handles ME. I'm at the very last stage of Sam's story (last DLC) so I doubt I'll bother though

BTW, The Two Colonels...man that ending caught me off guard even if I connected those dots way before.
I never played the DLCs, so it's exciting to hear they're pretty good... right? At least that's what it sounds like.

DLC's are very good. The Two Colonels is short (2 hours), VERY VERY VERY linear but the story makes up for the lack of engaging gameplay. Honestly I could have lived without the first hour of it... You are more participating in the narrative, if that makes sense.

Sam's Story is open world however is very hard to navigate for me. Swampy map like the first area in the main campaign that makes getting from island to island annoying as you have zero clue where to access the islands from and most can only be reached via the world's crappiest boat. Also when you are on the boat you always get hit with a storm so you use up your filters SUPER QUICK so just exploring is not so much an option. Gunplay is great on the other hand and all the buildings can be attacked from multiple entrances or methods so that goes a long way in my book. Probably just nitpicking regarding the navigating part Smilie I'd guess Sam's Story is 6-8 hours but have not finished it yet...at the end though, or so I assume.

I bought both DLC's for the $1.80 (total) on CD Keys, more than worth it if you liked the main campaign.

After doing research this game is, at the very least 'good'; but don't think i'll be able to use/play due to slow processor.

I looked into buying it for my son's Xbox 'series x' but it seemed to mostly be made for the UK...
