I agree that Windows Defender has come along way. I use it on several machines with zero issues.

I also think they Malwarebytes is a worthy addition and I run it in all my machines.

Together they handle any issues that crop up.

Can you wait a few months to initiate these licenses? I have some Malwarebytes licenses that don't expire until later this year.

No Bitdefender is better than Malwarebytes

What issues have you had crop up? I'm a lucky MWB lifetime member and haven't ever had a real threat detected in over a decade. It just makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

MWB recently killed one of my lifetime keys that came out of a physical box.

It's been working for 12+ years and suddenly out of the blue my MWB was reverted to a trial account.

I reached out to support, and they were just like "Oh it must be an error with that key, we'll have to reissue you a new one but you need to show us your original purchase receipt from authorized retailer".

Luckily I managed to find the purchase confirmation email from 2011 and they accepted it. Still a pain in the ass and sucks for anyone who can't provide an original purchase receipt from an authorized retailer.

It really makes me wonder if they are trying to purge old lifetime keys.
