My local HD the holiday left overs in their cardboard bins, they'll cross out 19.99 and put a normal tag of 29.99 over it for the same item. They did it with Milwaukee, the only things that hit clearance were the hats and shirts

Already seeing this on Marketplace for $50 in Northern IL. That didn't take long...

yeah great this is the biggest time and gas waster non-deal, it's not even YMMV bc the item shows not in stock, yet bc the "low price" you'll go waste time and effort to check, thinking "is there clearance section?" walk the entire store looking for the mythical clearance section or "upper shelf" that possibly has this item. Waste a good hour in the store I'm sure. Yeah no thanks I value my time, but you all go right ahead

Here is the brickseek number! You have to have an account to check!

No really mentioned in my local HD but 3 sets on clearance about an hour away!

Brickseed said it was in stock, but after 30 min drive and walking around the store forever, it wasn't there. Big waste of time

I'd be all over this if I could find it in store. And yeah, 1/4" is by far the most used in the auto restoration shop I own. And anyone telling you 1/4" is useless......well let them "think" that.

Just curious what people use the 1/4 sockets for. I almost never seem to get below 8mm and i think my 3/8 set goes down to 7mm.

I have a 1/4 set and just never really have a need for it.
It's a lot lighter in a packout as your main drive size. You can get most things done with it.

With all the plastic on top of the engines now adays they seam to use a lot smaller bolts. Replaced the intake and on my 2016 F250 diesel.... I used my 1/4" ratchet and sockets nearly on every bolt! Small bolts in tight spaces!
Surprised me too!

Used to use it a lot in IT. Lot of mounts and mobile workstation stuff that requires minimal torque and small sockets. 1 year we put together 300 wall mounts and 75 mobile carts.
along similar uses here... and 1/2 the weight of the small 3/8" in our shop

Man I feel like Brick Seek is like pissing in the wind, on the 30 or so wild goose chases I went in I found one item once on sale most of the time it's A Inventory mistake and they do it have for that price or item doesn't exist and sold out months ago.
