Hey guys, found this in clearance section at my local HD. Checked online and got typical HD clearance results:
  • some stores are marked clearance and some are not
  • and the clearance price may differ store to store
  • not available in every store
  • brickseek may differ from store inventory
Here is the Brickseek [brickseek.com] link

Just curious what people use the 1/4 sockets for. I almost never seem to get below 8mm and i think my 3/8 set goes down to 7mm.

I have a 1/4 set and just never really have a need for it.

Yeah i guess for tight spaces/clearance I've used it before. Just did some work on a tiller and backpack blower and got by with the 3/8 set.

Just curious.

I feel Like it's more for the small ratchet for room. Plus the 4-8mm nuts/bolts. Like someone else said, dash and other interior bolts in a car and some underhood stuff.

I used it to assemble ikea furniture in my 6 houses in the past 30 years, as well as my bicycles too.

Used to use it a lot in IT. Lot of mounts and mobile workstation stuff that requires minimal torque and small sockets. 1 year we put together 300 wall mounts and 75 mobile carts.
