The 80's ladies and gentleman. Jackson is still a good guitar though.

Here is the info:

The Jackson Soloist SLX DX Leopard electric guitar is a double-cutaway workhorse built for speed and comfort, packed with modern features for today's shredders. It features an ergonomically curved nyatoh body and through-body maple neck with graphic reinforcement for rock-solid stability, and tilt-back scarf joint headstock for reduced playing fatigue. Topped with 24 jumbo frets, its 12"–16" compound radius bound laurel fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording, and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out.
Active Jackson covered high-output humbucking pickups power the Soloist SLX DX Leopard with an expansive voice, loaded with crunchy, full-bodied tone that's ideal for brazen lead work or assertive rhythms runs. Tone is fully customizable with three-way pickup blade switching and single volume and tone controls, while a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge system provides superior string stability and dynamic tremolo action. Additional appointment includes pearloid sharkfin inlays, Jackson sealed die-cast tuners and sleek black hardware.

Features:
Nyatoh top and body
Through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement
12"–16" compound radius laurel fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets
Dual Jackson covered high-output humbucking pickups at the bridge and neck

Cool guitar but it would depend on what you play. If you're into playing at your local worship service, a blues open stage or a PETA convention this probably isn't for you.

My only complaint is the head stock. I would not have gone with that pattern because you can't read it. We're guitarists, labels are important. I want "Jackson" crystal clear.

I'd pay a little more if it were a reverse head stock though.

Finally, a guitar deal that doesn't tempt me. Might be the right thing for someone else though.

For the kind of person who wears a monogrammed velvet robe around the house.

It matches the underwear I wear when I walk around the house in my monogrammed velvet robe!

I would speculate it's a good fit for this band:

If Satchel needed a new guitar, he'd be in for 1.

Matches half my wardrobe. But if everything matches things look weird if it's not all black. Also my Jackson trem doesn't hold strings well. I'd rather get another Moser custom since that was the first guitar after decades I found that didn't have any issues an played smooth as silk
