According to CCC these were $25 last spring, so they may drop lower in the next month or so.

Average price is around $45, so $30 is still pretty slick.

I've had one for several years. It's great to carry around on days it might rain, light and very packable. I've never worn it for hours so I can't speak to how much you'll sweat inside it, but I've never had an issue with how I use it. It's definitely thin and insulated.

The price system sucks. Item priced at different price should be listed as different items. This is a big waste of time.

Yes. This is a nice looking jacket that seems well constructed and fits well, but I rarely wear it for this reason. If I wear the damn thing for more than ten minutes I end up as wet as I would have been if I'd gotten rained on without it. It's a pretty awful rain jacket, in my opinion, because it most be the least breathable jacket ever made. I generally like Columbia stuff and have a bunch of their jackets, but this one is garbage.

It's usually the crappy colors always on sale, people don't buy them and they just sit in their inventory so they need to discount them to move the stock.
