Anyone have experience with this TV or know if it's good for the price?

Had 2 TCLs. Rouk and android tv. Rouk failed with in a year and the warranty repaid took a month to come out. And I still ended up having to fix it my self after. The android still works but has WiFi issues and I have to unplug it and plug it back in sometimes. I would never buy another.

Plug an external streaming device into it if it is giving you issues. Android devices need to be power cycled periodically too fyi.

This tv was just on sale during Super Bowl time as a door buster for 399. I bought one. Great picture, very clear. Refresh rate is 60hz so take it for what it's worth. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Agree. I have 3 TCL units. It's not the brightest but great bang for your buck. No matter what OS is running on these, I add a 4k roku stick with the 5GHz. The interface is very stable and user friendly.

I bought this and I've always had Roku in the past. Although the interface is faster, I don't really like it much and casting video from an iPhone doesn't work as well. My 2 cents.

Hate to use limited HDMI ports on an external streaming device.

Just bought. Upgraded from old insignia 50in TV. Great budget purchase. Used Rting calibration settings and got the TCL S class 3.1 soundbar from Best Buy for $120. We are very happy with this setup that cost less than $600 total.

If a power cycle is all that's needed, plug into a smart plug that is scheduled to power cycle for 5 minutes every night at 3am or something.

Yes it does have dolby vision. I was watching something on Apple TV just a few minutes ago with it. It's a pop up on upper left corner.
