I keep a set of these to measure bags of fertilizer or buckets. They come in handy for more than just luggage.

I confirm that it is a legit scale. Sturdy. I bought it in Jan with the same price.

This is a nice scale. I gave it away because of the batteries died before we left for vacation. I searched the A for a AAA battery operated one because the battery is easier to replace when on vacation like swiping it from hotel remote control vs finding CR2023 buttons

If the quality of their illustrations are any indication of their attention to detail, I'll pass. The second image has conflicting indicators of which button is which - how effing hard can it be when the button labels are right there?!?

It's interesting to note that the sensors are the most reliable part of the package - produced by the millions with published MTBF rates. It's the stuff attached to the sensor (cantilever effects), calibration, the A/D converter and PCB design ...

Much more accurate than the expensive old spring based scales that went out of whack.

Great point. Know of any that use AAA batts? Put batt in when using it then remove ...

Seems like the OP deal is dead, price is showing as $12.99 for hook. From the reviews, it looks like the hook can be too small or a pain to use with larger luggage. Even before price went back up, I opted for two pack of strapped version. There are multiple in "like new" condition from Amazon Warehouse for $9.06. Came out to be ~$4.75 a piece after tax. I figured I'd give extra one away or keep as spare.

I'm sure you could overlook that considering there's tons of feedback here saying positive things about it. I'm sure there's instructions and it's probably pretty self explanatory
