I read on a previous listing that you can lie during sign-up and say you bought this from Costco and get a free year of echelon app, does that work for this one too?

I can still see price of $241 but 20% coupon is not showing up for this model EX-3. While coupon is only available for higher price EX-5 model. Wonder if this coupon is targeted?

Not sure chat with customer support would help, but don't have much time at workplace. Will try later afternoon and update. It would be great if anyone tried and share how it goes

So I first placed an order and then started the chat. Told them that the 20% coupon is not redeeming during checkout. Also gave them the link to the coupon from the other echolon bike listing . They said that they have adjusted the 20% and tax on it at the backend. It will reflect once the order ships and card is charged.

I had a bad luck and the trick didn't work for me even I tried with two reps. I'm gonna give up on this given it's $241. I searched SD and it seems the higher end EX-5 deals popped up at $399 from time to time, I would think it worth extra $100ish to go with EX-5 if compared with this EX-15 at $241.
I'll bite if 20% coupon could work though.

I was looking in the 200-250 range, basically anything with good reviews and magnetic resistance. But personally if I had the $400 budget I would wait for the Schwinn ic4 to come back at $500.
Granted it's another $100, but it's all over a much better buy. Pretty much the best in the market for anything sub $1k.

Bike is very well constructed. But the seat cushion is what you would expect at a prison gym. It's very uncomfortable. Set up was easy. I foolishly removed the brackets and bolts from under the seat that mount onto the post. After a lot of screaming I finally checked Reddit and found a solution.
I got it for $215 after tax. Plus an additional 5% back on my card. Great deal.
The echelon app sucks but I do get it for free for a year since I mistakenly clicked on the box that says purchased at Costco.
