Musician's Friend has the Martin Special GPC All-Solid Grand Performance Acoustic-Electric Guitar for $899.

I believe this is the GPC-11E, which has gotten very positive reviews as an all-solid wood instrument (including back and sides). I have not seen this model on sale in recent memory. Made in Mexico.

This is what Martin calls a "Grand Performance" size, with a narrower waist than a dreadnought. This allows the guitar to rest a bit lower on the thigh (when seated), which makes it more comfortable for many players thanks to the lower position. The large size still enables projection on par with a dreadnought, similar to the Taylor Grand Auditorium models.

Includes the Martin gig bag, which offers pretty good protection without the weight of a hard case.

Do you have any suggestions for an inexpensive (used) acoustic practice amp for an acoustic/electric guitar?

I recently ran into these Vox practice headphone amps. Great if you want to hear it loud and clear and to yourself. $50 and they have newer v3 models but the clean amp is v2. Vox also has small mini amps but they cost $220.

Monoprice has an acoustic amp that seems well reviewed. I believe this is the same model Martin I got 2 years ago. It is a phenomenal guitar for the price.
