My favorite fall winter type jacket is the abercrombie midweight tech jacket. Too bad they stopped selling them the last couple years. Luckily I bought several on clearance sales for around $30. I've bought the Columbia water tight II more recently. like how it's easily packable but not really thick

Poly fill is less bad than fleece. At least the poly fill mostly stays in the jacket instead of the fleece slowly turning into micro plastics when washing and drying.

Ah fark they take stuff off and back on their website. But at least once or twice a year it should be in your local warehouse, at least in the PNW. Check eBay tho. I paid $20 in warehouse for mine but I'm seeing some for like 30 on ebay with one quick search but might be found cheaper.

I've had a Columbia before and it was nice but also like 3x the price of the kirkland. the Kirkland is super comparable in quality too
