It turns out there are secret button pushes to change equalizer modes on this thing:

hit volume up and phone simultaneously to cycle between 3 treble modes,

hit volume down and bluetooth simultaneously to cycle base modes in a similar fashion

It's still showing full price for me despite trying 2 different browsers...it's clearly marked as full price in my Cart at Checkout unfortunately.
Update: After failing with Chrome and Firefox, used Brave browser and I'm now seeing the discounted price in the Cart. Thanks folks for letting me know that the deal is still alive--much appreciated.

Even though I have 2 Soundcore Motion Boom plus speakers, I went ahead and bought one of these. Of course, I have a couple teenagers in the house that keep taking my soundcore speakers, so this will help keep us from fighting over speakers… I get the HK Go + LOL.

I have both as well. For me, the Klipsch has way too much bass - overwhelming bass. I had to move mine to the otherside of the house because the neighbor on the otherside of an adjoining wall was complaining about vibrations from the bass at even normal volume levels. There's no way to adjust or turn down the bass either. On the Klipsch the bass over powers the mids and treble. I just got the GO+ Play and my initial impressions are that it has a V shaped sound - lots of bass (but more in control than the Klipsch) and lots of treble. The treble can sound a little sharp at times. Doesn't seem to be much in the middle between the bass and treble. There's no way to adjust bass/treble. Both speakers can fill a good size room with sound. The Klipsch is not portable. It's made to sit on a desk, table or shelf and be plugged in. The GO+ is portable and has a battery, but it weighs a ton and is heavy to move around. It sounds good but I wasn't blown away by it. However considering its on sale for about the same as the much smaller JBL Flip, its a good deal. At one point Walmart was blowing out the Klipsch and you could get them cheaply on Ebay, but now they seem to be going for around $150 - 200.

Could anyone confirm that this speaker can play music (use the device) while plugged in / charging? I don't plan to take this anywhere and would use in the garage or backyard.

Yes. It's actually a bit louder when it's plugged in vs using the battery too. Not a significant difference but noticeable on max volume from my testing. It's already loud as hell so I imagine this extra oomph won't be needed 95% of the time

Got 2 and shipping was quick, took 2 days by UPS. Compared to the 2nd gen these have a warmer sound and has more bass.
