One of the best gaming experiences of our time. Combat, music, story. This game is a 10/10. I do seem to remember there being some potential performance issues at launch for PC, but I think they have all been fixed. The developers for Stellar Blade have discussed openly how Nier was a massive inspiration for their game. As excited as I am for Stellar Blade I highly doubt they were able to capture the conceptual and abstract tones of Nier, similar to how devs have been unable to capture the magic of FromSoftware games. I would love to be wrong though. Nier will have you praying for a part 2.

This game is awesome! I would recommend looking up some videos as it is kinda hard to explain. Kinda devil may cry fighting. But there are a ton of different endings and the game shifts the type of gameplay. For example, top down, third person, side scroller. It is alot of fun.

I was pissed at myself for not playing game sooner it is a true magical experience and the side quest actually add to story so don't skip them. 26 different ending not to mention the 2 hidden endings. I can't recommend this game enough oh and the sound track is beautiful.

If you have a Series X, this is apparently the best version of Nier Automata available. I think the PC release has always been buggy. Maybe there's been mods since to fix the PC port, idk.

The Xbox version is the best option especially with the One X graphics boost back when that was a thing last generation.

As others have said... this game is a masterpiece.
Truly one of the best gaming experiences in my life.
I've played a massive amount of games since the days of the NES and nothing comes close to what NieR Auotmata is.
Just ensure that you are playing it in as high fidelity (video and sound) and in a private environment as possible.
To me it was incredibly adept at pulling me into its world - something I credit to the setting I chose to play it in.
