They used to extend it to the month of March during covid, if I'm not wrong. It used to help avoid long waits and crowds.
Obviously, in the short term, it is in their interest to have it only on 1 day and get the most viral marketing mileage out of the limited number of cheap pizza they can realistically sell in that day.
But the frustration of the over-crowded experience will put off many customers, which in the long term could be worse for their brand.
The best of both worlds would be if they could spread it over the week, at least.
