There are two magazines revisions with subtle differences between them. One is targeted to ages 4-7 whereas the other appears to be targeted at ages 7+ (though the downloadable PDFs are titled with "8plus" in the file name).

You will get an opportunity to set a birth month and year when creating the subscription. You're also allowed to generate multiple subscriptions for different kids.
