just did this yesterday and got the following:

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection NSW $12.80
Super Mario RPG $35.20
Super Mario Kart 8 $35.20
Dead Cells Return to Castlevania $25.60

Also used the $50 plus on my Xbox Series S and got $187.50

These values factor in the extra 10% from Pro Membership BTW but honestly not bad.
Thanks! Definitely a good price for a series s. We have an extra sitting around not getting much use (mostly use the series x), so this is a no brainer trade in.

Just don't buy any hardware or accessories with that credit. Tried to return a headset that was uncomfortable and was told they no longer accept returns, only exchanges.

Lots of places to buy physical media online, gamestop needs to be relegated to the dustbin of history.

Let GameStop bite the dust. Even with trade-in "deals," it's still a ripoff compared to just selling games yourself on Facebook Marketplace.

30 back for eldin ring ps5? So the new disc w dlc is 80, that'd make it 50...dlc is 40 so for 10 extra bucks you get a disc with dlc if you're the kind of person who doesn't like buying digital content.

Honestly I'm okay with physical games going away at this point as long as there are multiple digital marketplaces having competing sales to keep prices low. Waste of plastic, disc hardware on systems makes them less reliable, and we wouldn't have to worry about limited run games being extremely expensive collector items (looking at you, Nintendo, with mario 3D all stars, a 2 year old cart that sells for $100+)
Except there wouldn't be. Congress doesn't care enough to regular the video game industry. You'd have the PS Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo eShop.

Lol who's talking about congress...

Steam has cheap games, and console stores regularly match those prices. The platforms compete with each other.

No you don't -- physical games will still be on Amazon and other online. Nintendo and Microsoft will still have physical games next generation; we don't know about Sony though.
Have you not what those exact competitors have caused? Amazon drove physical books out of business and it took years for Barnes and Noble to stabilize again.

Best Buy already got rid of physical movies, leaving Walmart, Target, and Amazon as the big three. What happens when another drops?

I'm not saying you have to shop at GameStop. But the vitriol directed at it purely for existing is ridiculous. They have to remain competitive to exist, and to do so, they have seen that resorting to these type of deals work.

You talk like removing GameStop out of the equation would still allow for games to remain physical and sold on marketplace at a reasonable price.

If GameStop goes away, soon Target or Best Buy will be next, then another, and then we're stuck with digital only where each platform sets their price and abides by their version of "fair market value". We all assumed going digital would benefit the consumer because it costs less for platforms to do so, and yet here we are still seeing record high digital prices for physical games that become dirt cheap six months to a year after release.

What's the $50 plus you are referring to regarding your Xbox?
