Nopes, it is not. It is not a gaming laptop. You have a wrong idea that every premium laptops must have a Graphics card.

Their Business lineups, ProBook, Elitebook and Firefly series, have been pretty much upgradable for last couple of generations.

It's like $30 to upgrade the CPU to the AMD Ryzen™ 9 PRO 7940HS 5.2 GHz. I assume most people should do that if they're dishing out this much for the laptop.

Partly right. GPU isn't for gaming only. Everything will be rely on LLM locally very soon, and for dealing with a lot of data or tons of excel/sql, a GPU is very good to have.

If you're not gaming, not creating (video or photography), no data handling, no engineering, then it's super duper niche workload to need 64gb ram, no GPU.

It IS a weird spec, that's not wrong
How exactly are excel/sql dependent on the GPU?
