You will be charged $150 today and on the backend a credit for that amount will be placed on your SIM.

When you activate, the SIM uses its $150 credit to purchase 1 year of service at the discounted rate of $150.

If you fail to activate in the time frame, which is anywhere from 3-6 months, they will charge you full price (an additional $150) and add it to the SIM cards balance for when/if you ever activate it.

No matter what, you are purchasing 1 year of service and the SIM card they send will forever have 1 year of prepaid service sitting on it. Whether you activate in 1 day or 3 years it will still work, the only difference is whether you pay $150 or $300 for that SIM.
I ported out a few weeks back. It took about 2 hours. I had to call in and get the account and pin first. It took a few redirects and waits, and attempts by them to get me to stay. But this took about 30-45 mins. Then I had to call again as during thr port out process, they don't automatically approve it. It again took a few redirects and waiting and upsell and finally was able to port out.
Boost Mobile customer service is the worst. The first 2 layers of customer service cannot speak freely or answer your questions. They are only allowed to respond with a few scripted sentences. Keep asking for a manager or supervisor and pray you don't disconnect during the 45 minute wait.

Wasted so much time and energy when I bit on a Slick Deal last year and they overcharged me $180 which took 10+ calls and 2 months to get back (They initially issued it as credit to my account and I had to fight even more to get it back to my card)

"By clicking 'Buy Now' or 'Pay with PayPal', you agree to pay the amount due today. Your service will not begin until your SIM is activated. "

This is what the fine print says, but I don't want trust this. Can anyone confirm?

My plan expires in July, can I buy so many months in advance?

I have had a Boost SIM (came with phone) sit around for months before activation and they were ok with it.

Their form doesn't accept ANY of my email addresses. "Please enter a valid email." It is valid you idiot web programmers. It looks like they're trying to cross-reference the email address to Facebook... so it appears you must have Facebook before signing up.

They could have done this before I bought two Samsung A15s that are sitting in boxes for a year.

Known issue on the Boost site is ad-blockers breaking the ability to submit an email address for validation. Try disabling your ad-blocker or using a different browser.

I do not know how long Boost allows before activation when porting in.

Like the bundled deal for a week ago, I expect this offer be good for only a limited time. My guess this deal expires midnight Monday morning.

You will recieve an email a few days before your time is up. If you go beyond that they will charge you full price. Their TOS says 90 days to activate but for me it took 5 months before I got the warning email.

Even after they charge you full price you will recieve another email stating they will refund you if activate in 3 days.

This refund is not automatic in anyway and will require a lot of calls to get to someone who even knows what emails you are talking about.

I went through this when my boost mobile emails were blocked as spam (lol) and I forgot about activating until I saw them charge me.

They also have 3 months of this same service for $30. I'd use boost as a second eSIM. I wouldn't transfer my number.

I'm semi-ashamed to even ask, but can this plan be eSM'ed (for iphone 14)?
