  • Note: Must activate credit upgrade between February 23, 2024, at 12 AM PST to February 29, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST

Deal Instructions:
  1. Sign into your Sonos account.
  2. View the products registered to your account in the System tab. Qualifying Products that are eligible for the Upgrade Program will be clearly marked under Your Account, indicating the Discount Credit level that will be applied to your future purchase.
  3. Navigate to the Upgrade tab within Your Account and follow the instruction steps for each Qualifying Product. You will be directed to accept these terms & conditions in order to receive your Discount Credit.
  4. Your Discount Credit and the amount of your discount will be reflected and available for use anytime you are logged into the "My Account" section of sonos.com.

Yes, you're missing that the upgrade credit does not require you to return your Play 3's or Playbar (although they will gladly accept them if you *want* to return them). The upgrade credit just applies a discount to the new item you are purchasing.

1. Will not deactivate your current device.
2. You do not need to send your old device in for recycle.
3. You can only use one code per item rather than order like before so if you want 2 x era300 for example add the 2pack and use one code rather than two.
4. 30% discount will override any other discount such as sale OR bundle price.

Just offered me a whopping $75 credit for 2 Play 3s and a Playbar. Am I missing something? I could probably sell these for $400 pretty easily.

edit: thanks for clarifying folks! I was thinking an upgrade like a phone, so getting credit just for having items is cool

It doesn't mention anything about returning the items. Some can correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anybody know if upgrading two products will result in a 30% credit for one product or two?

Asking because if it only generates credit for one item; if you have multiple items to upgrade you might be better off only selecting one at this time and saving the other one for the future

I got 2 activation codes from 2 products. You can definitely use it on 2 products. 30% each.

I haven't seen an email yet, but my account does reflect the increase to 30% as well for all of my "upgradable" speakers (Play:1, One, One SL, Beam gen 1, Move gen 1, Connect:Amp)

What's not clear to me is if the discount has to be used by 2/29 to get the full 30%. It's clear that the code doesn't expire, but it's not clear to me that it stays 30% past 2/29.

They say the discount is for "Limited Time". So I'd assume it drops back to 15% after 2/29
