  1. Sign into your Sonos account.
  2. View the products registered to your account in the System tab. Qualifying Products that are eligible for the Upgrade Program will be clearly marked under Your Account, indicating the Discount Credit level that will be applied to your future purchase.
  3. Navigate to the Upgrade tab within Your Account and follow the instruction steps for each Qualifying Product. You will be directed to accept these terms & conditions in order to receive your Discount Credit.
  4. Your Discount Credit and the amount of your discount will be reflected and available for use anytime you are logged into the "My Account" section of sonos.com.

Yes, you're missing that the upgrade credit does not require you to return your Play 3's or Playbar (although they will gladly accept them if you *want* to return them). The upgrade credit just applies a discount to the new item you are purchasing.

1. Will not deactivate your current device.
2. You do not need to send your old device in for recycle.
3. You can only use one code per item rather than order like before so if you want 2 x era300 for example add the 2pack and use one code rather than two.
4. 30% discount will override any other discount such as sale OR bundle price.

This post made me waste the time to read through all the terms and conditions to find the person posting is an ignoramus. This is false - your old device will function completely as normal.

The only thing that happens to your old device is that once it has been 'upgraded', it cannot be used again to get an 'upgrade' credit.

What I have discovered is that there are a lot of posts in SD that are completely false. Here are the give aways - 1) they are one sentence 2) stated as truths 3) provide zero additional information or support. My recommendation to SD's is to completely ignore such posts and dont waste your time. Too bad SD doesnt allow downreps on posters as a way to reduce these time wasters.

Anyone know a good Sonos setup with a microphone for karaoke using YouTube? Couldn't figure out how to make this happen without buying a separate bluetooth speaker setup.

These sonos speakers are not loud enough for karaoke. In addition, there is not a way to have a line in for your microphone. I have two separate systems, the sonos system is for music and movies, and one system for karaoke.

Sonos 5 is plenty loud enough… with a Sub would be ideal…

But you are right about one thing… the line in for the mics. The only Sonos speaker that's able to connect to a karaoke machine as a main channel are soundbars like the Arc and Beam. If you're using your karaoke for a business… not good enough…. It just wouldn't sound as good as a dedicated receiver/speaker system or a powered speaker like a PA for music. For personal use at home, the soundbar would work fine.
